2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup

There are some exciting news for Colombia today. FIFA Executive Committee designated Colombia as the host country for the U-20 World Cup in 2011. It was reported that Colombia were chosen over Venezuela (the other bidder) due his football tradition.
The tournament will be played in eight cities, Bogotá (El Campín), Medellín (Atanasio Girardot), Cali (Estadio del Deportivo Cali), Pereira (Hernan Ramírez VIllegas), Manizales (Palogrande), Armenia (Centenario), Barranquilla (Roberto Melendez) and Cartagena (Jaime Morón).
