Getting ready for Honduras
Colombia is going to play with Honduras on March 26th, and Jorge Luis Pinto thinks is a good chance to test some players. So he called 4 men who haven’t been capped before. The lucky ones are Stalin Motta (La Equidad), Paulo Arango (América), Giovanny Moreno (Envigado) and Yossimar Mosquera (Arsenal, Arg). The full list has 25 names, nevertheless, only 17 players will be in the final list and travel to Fort Lauderdale (USA), where the game will be held.
I’m not sure if some of them will be on the game, but I’d really like to see Motta and Mosquera wearing the yellow shirt. Both of them have done and excellent job in their clubs and deserve a chance on the National Team. I don’t understand why Pinto is calling Anchico and Córdoba again.

Motta, Gio Moreno and Jossimar (not Yossimar) are awesome, and Danilson Cordoba demonstrated some brute force in the game against Uruguay. I think his speed and strength help the midfield, but you are right on Anchico. I also dislike the call up of Gio Hernandez (past his time and never really took us anywhere), Alexis, Amaranto (always fouling and messing up both on Madrid and the nats),and Arizala. However, everyone else is really really good, for the first time in a very very long time, Colombia has a world-class team again!

Córdoba has not been doing a good job in his club recently, that’s why I said he shouldn’t be called in the first place. Nevertheless, he didn’t make it to the final list.
I don’t like Amaranto neither, there are some better guys like J. Mosquera and A. Mosquera, they should be playing together but seems like Pinto is going to user Perea on tomorrow’s game.
